Edgemont Towers

In 2020 my husband and I lived in a studio on second floor. I was pregnant at that time. Edgar the manager was a great help. We moved in quickly, had good neighbors, maintenance team quickly responded to our requests. All the stores and hospitals are nearby. Overall it was good memories and great experience to leave in this building.

I mean, it's cheap for the area. There is no covered parking available. I lived there for a year, and the management used to be alright. But then a new company bought it and everything went crazy downhill. Lots of things getting stolen, garbage not going out and piling up in the back. This place had bedbugs and they say they got rid of them, but right before I moved out another tenant filed a complaint and they "sprayed" which isn't enough. It definitely had cockroaches- I had them on the... FOURTH floor so I know they had a lot on the bottom floor. They refused to have an "outgoing Mail" section fixed because people just stole it anyway. Even though they have a security camera in the front they do nothing to prosecute. For a large apartment complex, it feels intimate and quiet. The one bedrooms are spacious with wonderful built in storage and original cabinetry. The landlord is the most helpful landlord I have ever encountered. The communal space out back is pretty bland with only 2 plastic picnic tables and no greenery to liven up the concrete patio. But, at least there is outdoor space! We are in walking distance to some great little restaurants like Square One, DeSano's PIzza, and L.A. Rose. Easy walking to... great and inexpensive produce place called Edi & Peter's. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and friendly and you are 5 minutes away from Hollywood, Los Feliz, Silverlake, and Thai Town! Read More
