Spring Arcade Building

I've been living in the Spring Arcade building for 4 years and I love it. Everyone that works here from management to the security guards and cleaning staff, they're all wonderful. It's a historic building with beautiful, renovated interiors and amenities (fridge, microwave, dishwasher, kitchen, AC & heat). They recently renovated our gym with brand new equipment too. A lot of people have reservations about living DTLA, but trust me, this building not only feels, but it's safe. Cameras, 24/7... security, key fob to use the elevator and gated parking. It's located walking distance from the metro, The Last Bookstore, Grand Central Market, Ralphs, Whole Foods, Target, and a lot of small family-owned restaurant and shops as well. The building management, maintenance and location are the reason why I've lived in this building for years. It's an older building in the historic core but possesses a lot of character and is extremely well maintained and clean by attentive staff. It's on a very lively street but has 24/7 security and secured parking with a valet. Management is highly responsive and attentive to any issues I've ever had. The restaurants in the alley is an added plus of convenience when you don't feel like... cooking. Would recommend if you are looking for an authentic experience of living in the heart of DTLA! I lived in two different apartments in this building - 605 and 208. They were both super unique spaces, very spacious, well-maintained, and insanely noise-proof. The maintenance staff is quick to respond, the manager, Jake, is ALWAYS on it and reachable, and the security team is unmatched. 5 STARS ALL-AROUND.

The apartment is clean, spacious and well maintained. It is in a great location, the middle of downtown LA. Everything you need is just a few blocks away. You will never get bored with constant events happening almost every week. Clubs and restaurants are just a crosswalk away. On the other hand, it gets crowded and the traffic gets very bad. Parking is also a pain as it is not a part of your rent. You have to pay another extra 150 a month.
