First of all I would like to introduce myself, my name is Matthieu, I am a 19 years old student from France, I just moved into the US to studie the Hollywood industries. So far it is hard to find a job here so I had to try to br hosted by people and I ended up in this apartment on Yucca Street in Hollywood( shady neighborhood ). The apartment is overly to expensive for its size ( around $1100/month ) This is a little studio which comes which used features, especially the bathroom wich feels... really old ( the water isn't working properly ). The letter boxes are really small and the mail worker can't easily access to the inside. Now it's time to come to the main issue. BUGS ! They are everywhere, endless amount of roaches and bed bugs. It's infested due to the oldness of the building. After three times that the exterminators came, they still here. And no one seems to do something about it! They could do better. The Mayfair is a great building. Pride of ownership/management. The manager is great, she really takes time to help the residents and keep the place clean and safe. AND, this is where Carol Burnett lived when she got her big break! Walk to the best of everything!
