The Thompson has been thoughtfully transformed into one of Koreatown’s most sought after apartment communities! The completely remodeled residences feature a contemporary and elevated aesthetic, with finishes that include quartz countertops, Grohe... fixtures, custom cabinetry, LG stainless steel appliances, in-home washer/dryer and wood-look flooring. The community also features a fitness center, lobby lounge and workspace area, and outdoor deck, complete with cabanas, barbecues and fire pits!
You'll be amazed to find so many great places right outside your door! Some of our favorite places include Chapman Plaza (Quarters BBQ, KazuNori, Sake House, Toe Bang, Escala, Tokki, Tiger Sugar Boba, Silverlake Ramen, BaekJeong BBQ, Starbucks), Blue Bottle and Sweetgreen a block North, The Line Hotel (Break Room 86, Openaire, Alfred Coffee, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) a few blocks West, Open Market (artisan coffees, sandwiches and provisions) across the courtyard and Intercrew and Umaya LA across the street.
The community’s distinct character combined with its exceptional walkable location in the heart of Koreatown offers residents a highly covetable living experience, uniquely designed for the modern dweller. Please contact us today to learn more or to book a tour!

I had a good experience living at The Thompson overall. The apartment itself is modern, clean, and well maintained, with updated finishes. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, and major roads.
One thing I really appreciated was the leasing office and management team. They were professional, responsive, and helpful whenever I had questions throughout my stay. The move-in and move-out process was well organized, and they clearly explained what was... expected.
I’m relocating for a new job opportunity, so my decision to move had nothing to do with the apartment itself. I enjoyed living here and would recommend The Thompson to anyone looking for a modern apartment in Koreatown. Thank you to the management team for making my stay a positive experience.

Leasing Agent James Paik!
I had to give the leasing agent 5 stars because he was super helpful, kind, and patient with me. I saw many apartments and met with many different leasing agents but he was the Top Tier. I first saw the apartment yesterday, he showed me the place and honestly it was fantastic. He kindly gave me all the information I needed and showed me all of the amenities/building thoroughly so I would not miss anything. I was very impressed and asked for the application right away. Throughout the application... process, he explained everything that I needed and assisted me every step. I really want to give a shoutout to the leasing agent and also to The Thompson. I am looking forward to living here! Very excited.

Leasing/Management Couldn't Even Schedule a Tour Without Messing Up
The management team confirmed that I was scheduled to tour the apartments, but when the date arrived, they said that no tour was scheduled. They were also not transparent at all about the move-in specials that they advertised here. I agree with other reviewers here, they are incompetent. Look elsewhere

Worst management team ever
The room is good for the price. However, the management team is the worst that I have ever met. The elevators are constantly broken. There were issues with water, electricity, and internet in the building. I remember we had no internet for one week and no hot water for three straight days. We emailed the manager, Joanne, for help and received a reply after two days saying sorry. The utility fixing schedule is also a nightmare. You have to choose a time that fits their time the best for any issue... , otherwise, you may end up waiting for weeks for some emergency issue.

Wish I would have avoided
Deceptive management, dog pee stains, smelly garbage in the hallways, incredibly loud street noise and internal building noise, outrageously high rent increases, bottom of the barrel appliances that break often. Look elsewhere.
