This place is for rent frequently and there’s reason why. Very old and cheap landlords. Very old plumbing and the lease says YOU are responsible for it. If you have a plumbing issue, they blame you and give you the bill. Some of the apartments are really old and some newly renovated. Don’t be fooled by new appliances. Montrose is a beautiful town and this apartment is centrally located and very close to many shops and restaurants. Unfortunately this is the worst representation of Montrose. The price is great but there's a reason why. The apartment is located between a dry cleaner (chemical smells) and a nursing home (very loud machinery). I've had to call police a few times because of vagrants in the alley that were probably released from the nearby hospital. The car port area is dark and my car has been... broken into. It's a common occurrence here. Management is beyond noisy and lives in the complex. I've lived here for a year and I'm waiting for my one year lease to be up so I can find something better. I don't have kids but I was sad to hear that the kids in the complex aren't even allowed to play outside. The owners should really add more washers and dryers and consider better business decisions.
