The Crest at Pacific Grove

The Crest no longer has a functioning pool or tub. They have been closed for 3 months and are used as a storage area where the management stores windows, etc. When the pool was open back when, it was too cold and the management refused to keep it heated because it was too expensive. There are a lot of cats roaming around and they pee all over the place. If you walk on the 2nd - 3rd floor it smells like cat urine. Laundry machines are old, and can't handle larger items like towels. The gym... doesn't have a single treadmill. The manager acts like he owns the place and can decide to show up at you place with minimum notice to replace doors, windows, etc. Not worth the money the place is charging. Read More

In my experience as a resident here for (sadly) a brief amount of time due to an employment situation, I have been impressed by the management, the apartment community, and the maintenance. I have lived in four different apartments in the past and this place is truly excellent. No complaints (and I have high standards). Maintenance is efficient, fast, and thorough. Tammy (community manager) is fantastic. The apartment community is respectful, quiet, safe, and friendly.

Of all the places that I have stated in the last few years, this would have to be the best. Tammy (housing office) is great to work with and very responsive to phone calls. I initially looked up this and two other properties and what made me choose this one was the service that I received. I was moving into the area from overseas and she was up all hours of the night to help me get the paperwork submitted and approve that way when I did arrive, an apartment was one less thing I had to worry... about. The maintenance crew here is also great to work with. Jeremy (runs the Maintenance shop). Is quick to respond day or night.
