La Villa Lake Apartments

My wife and I moved in here as this was our first apartment together. We were met with great hospitality and care. We rented a one bedroom and made the space work for us. The apartment had brand new, stainless steel appliances and new laminate flooring which made cleaning easy. The insulation inside the apartment was great--never felt like it was too hot or cold even in 100 degree or 40 degree days/nights. Contrary to other reviews, the management team of Maria and Nelson have been fantastic.… They truly care about the place and are reasonable people who take pride in what they do. They were quick to respond if there were any issues and were always helpful in answering any questions as well. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and great to walk/jog around. There is a park that is super close by. The best secret is that there is a community lounge that NO ONE uses, that I used as a private office with free wi-fi, coffee, a television, and air-conditioning/heating. Tried multiple times to reach someone in the leasing office, I left voice messages, emails and even went to the office, and I got no response! I guess all the bad reviews about the management are true.

I lived here for about 12 months and relocated for personal reasons. Me and my boyfriend moved from East Coast to here. We had a one bedroom on the first floor. I have to say that this is a great apartment because it is pretty new, and modern. The apartment environment is quiet and clean. I felt really safe here and feel safety walking my dog alone at night.
One of the most brilliant things about Lavilla lake is that they are pet friendly. There is a courtyard in the apartment and you can put… your dog unleash here as long as you clean up your pet's waste.

This was my first apartment to myself, I had a studio on the first floor a few doors down from Nelson and Maria. It wasn't glamorous but it had everything that I needed. I felt really safe here and they were always cordial and helpful. Maria was always responsive and they even cancelled their weekend plans once to help me out when my garbage disposal was clogged (since I was in the studio it would have stunk up the place if they hadn't).
