We lived here for 6 years—always paid rent on time, kept to ourselves, and treated the property with care. But ever since the new management took over, things have gone downhill quickly.

Crime in the area has increased, and management has done nothing to protect residents. On 09/24, our car tires were stolen on the property, along with two other cars. We later learned this had happened three times before, but management never notified anyone. No warning, no updates—just silence.

We only spoke... up when it truly mattered, but now it feels like we’re being retaliated against. Multiple maintenance staff told us we wouldn’t be charged for carpet replacement because we had lived here for over 5 years—but we were still charged after moving out. It felt unfair and personal.

I had a really nice experience with the girls at the office. My paperwork was very fast and understandable. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to start my new stage in the studio apartment. The place is very clean and nice. My first few days living here I can say that it is a very quiet place, full of peace, without annoying noises. It is also in a privileged location less than a minute from the 680 highway and just 2 minutes from the Pleasant Hill Bart station. A quiet and safe... neighborhood. This is a great place to live! Management is easy to work with and very responsive to any needs. It’s also a great location because it’s centrally located to access freeway and bart. Easy for my commute

It has been such a good experience living here. No pest issues. No plumbing or electrical issues. Kind considerate respectful neighbors. I haven't experienced any crime. I think someone in the complex did get a bike stolen off their balcony once but that's it, that's the only crime I heard about in over a year and a half. The location is ideal. So close to so much, the walking trail,... BART, cute shops and offices. Right next to the freeway and major streets. It's super easy to get places. So many stores within a 10 minute or less drive and yet even being so close to the freeway it still feels so safe, secluded and peaceful. But the best part is the maintenance and leasing staff. They are exceptional! I feel so blessed to live here. When I moved in they were so great about explaining everything and answering all my questions and making the process as easy as possible. And I thought maybe once I moved in they wouldn't be as nice anymore. I was so wrong. Any maintenance issues are resolved as promptly as humanly possible and the team is kind, respectful and responsive. They always communicate any maintenance happening at the property well in advance tree trimming, asphalt repairs etc and any major things like having to turn off water to fix things has been handled super quickly and they tried to keep it during hours when I was at work so it didn't affect my life too much and I got emails so I would know what to expect. It made me feel so safe. It was very peaceful inside and outside. Managers (especially Mele!) were very nice and kind. It took only 30 mins to UCB, so not a bad choice for UCB students.
