Skyview

My wife and I have lived at Skyview for a year and a half, living in two floorplans and in two different areas within the complex, and its been our best renting experience yet.

The location of the complex is a definite plus - leaving the complex gives you a fantastic view of South Orange County to the left and a closeup view of Santiago Peak to the right. Mere blocks away from a park and steps away from the toll road intersection, the location has a good balance of accessibility and nature. …

The complex itself in terms of units is smaller than other complexes in the area, but this is compensated via amenities. Full washer and dryer in every apartment, a garage for each unit, and newly renovated units. I've seen the complex transform from great to even better, as the new renovations and aesthetic improvements make the place seem new. The leasing office seems very committed to improvements, as evidenced by the new parking program which effectively eliminated a large chunk of the parking issues residents were having. Also, since the complex is non-smoking and gated, its easy to house a family without security or health concerns.

The only drawback I've experienced is pricing - their floorplans are for the most part more expensive than others in the area and may be beyond most comfortable budgets. But if one can afford living here, I would absolutely recommend it. Read More

This apartment met EVERY criteria we were looking for- came with appliances, dual entrance to the bathroom, washer/dryer in the unit, 2 sinks in the bathroom... It was the perfect option for our budget. We walked in one day and put a deposit down after only half an hour. We moved in one week later. We have a huge outside balcony and a fireplace. We have a parking pass AND our own garage and can get overnight passes for guests whenever we want. The community was also a perfect fit for us because… my boyfriend likes to feel like he's more secluded and I like to feel like I'm close to shops and stores. I have been nothing but happy with how Skyview has treated me since I moved in. After living in a three story mega-complex last year, I was sick of being crammed in with so many people. Skyview is a nice small community and is great for kids. Also non-smoking which is a plus. This is a hidden gem, people were talking online about a sewage smell, it isn't there. They said parking sucks, only one time have I had to park on the street when I came home at midnight, and the street is a shorter walk… than it was from my parking garage at my last place. We moved into a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment in SkyView this May. Right now we are on a waiting list for a 3 bedroom, fingers crossed one comes up soon!!
Our home was recently renovated, so almost everything is brand new. I love it!
SkyView just started enforcing parking which is awesome. You must have a permit to park on site after 9pm. No more parking on the street for my daughter. Safety first!
