Terrible place
The location is decent, but there are a lot of issues that make living here frustrating.
The biggest safety concern is the parking garage exit onto Prospect Ave. It’s essentially a blind exit—there are no mirrors, parked cars block your view, and traffic flies down the street. Pulling out is stressful every single time and feels like an accident waiting to happen.
The property is dog-friendly, which is a plus, but many residents are not considerate. Dogs regularly urinate throughout the common... areas, leaving parts of the property smelling like urine.
Noise is another major problem. Many tenants play loud music late into the night, and it’s common to hear dogs barking for long periods. If you’re looking for a quiet place to live, this probably isn’t it.
The building’s age and layout also work against it. If you’re in a first-floor unit, the surrounding taller buildings block most of the natural light, making the apartment feel dark and gloomy throughout the day.
The shared laundry room is poorly maintained. The machines frequently leak, leaving puddles of water on the floor that you have to walk through.
Maintenance also leaves a lot to be desired. Several doors and cabinet doors don’t close properly, and many repairs feel like temporary patch jobs instead of being fixed correctly.
Overall, this property has potential because of its location, but it suffers from poor maintenance, excessive noise, inconsiderate residents, and design flaws that make it difficult to recommend.
