It used to be really good
First of all, there is NO internet access. This site does not mention this a building for seniors (over 55 yo). There is also rent/income limitations. The building is low income because it has financing under the California Tax Credit rules.
Basically, the building used to be one of the best places in downtown San Diego. That is no longer true. There was renovation about a year ago. It was not a complete renovation. Painting was not done, hallways are a mess.
They removed numerous things... that were advantageous to seniors (hand held showers, cutting boards, kitchen sink sprayer). It also used to be kept very clean and that is definitely no longer the case. There were luncheons, community room activities, coffee & cookies daily. All those things have stopped. It used to be that management treated this place as a community. That is gone. The current management philosophy seems to be that their job is to do paperwork. I have lived here over 10 years and find the changes particularly frustrating.
