The Genesis Apartments

CHECK THE LAUNDRY ROOMS! They are always nasty, roaches literally crawling out! I've lived here a year. That's is a preview of what's to come. The manager, Sandra promised to fix all the problems, and to date has only fixed a few. The AC is half the size of the hole, no she will not get a proper sized one. Kids are never watched, so there are always trash, ambulances, and vandalism in the complex. The manager will not fix most things after you move in saying you accepted it "as is". She allowed... my truck to be towed while we were unloading groceries! Her favorite resident is a family with 18 year old twin boys, who often get drunk and high with their adult "friends" in the resident parking lots or outside the wall of bedroom windows. All complaints to to the manager are rebuffed with "that's a tenant issue". Lastly, you will never get advanced notice of her needing access to your apartment or that the water is getting shut off! It's semi-quiet but there's is a lot going on when kids are around. Running on Hall ways and parking lot. We have been here 6 months and we have a roach problem coming from the apartment next door through the electric outlets. I like how we have our own parking spot and it's gated only people with access can go inside. Manager is super nice and helpful.
