The Lido

The lido has bike storage rooms where I locked my bike up. I saw that someone else reported their bike stolen from those rooms so I went to the office to see if my bike was still safe there. Management repeatedly and confidently assured me that my bike was fine. I offered to move my bike into my own apartment but management assured me that wasn’t necessary because the lido made security changes.
Months later my bike was stolen from the bike room. I contacted the lido office and management told... me that there had been an uptick of bike thefts from the bike rooms during COVID. Despite that knowledge, management never warned me that the bike room was not a safe place to keep my bike.
