Uptown Villas Apartments (II)

My husband and I have recently moved to Uptown Villa's from NJ. We could not be happier, not only for the property manager Lauren's professionalism, but for her hospitality. From the first phone call up till now, Lauren has been there every step of the way. Any issue she is right there helping us. She has made sure that our move was smooth painless process(since we were moving cross country). She has given us tips on restaurant locations and where we can catch the best sunset. The condo itself... is a dream! In a perfect location, completely updated, we are so happy to call this place our home. Yes, the homeless population is a bit much, but unfortunately I don't think anybody, especially Lauren, can control that situation. The apartment is very nice, great upgrades, laundry in the unit, central heat and air, it’s honestly a great little spot. The problem is the location and the management. The area is overrun with homeless people, it’s noisey and uncomfortable to walk around outside. Lauren, the property manager, gets nothing done and ignores maintenance. The complex is clearly not well maintained and I get a text or email about every other week saying the water is shut off or some other issue. So In summation,... cute apartment in a shitty situation. Lived in Uptown for 4 years. Its close to everything but Lauren the on-site manager is a joke. No maintenance request ever completed. I was without a bathroom for 2 months. Very unprofessional. So glad to be gone.

Be aware the newly updated apartments are thrown together looks great but falls apart.
