This has to be the last cheapest apartment in San Francisco! For those who do not have a 100,000 salary and lives and works in the city this may be a great place for you. I have been at YBC for about a year now and I am still curious how I was able to find this place (craigslist). Its a small 190sq ft apartment in SOMA its SMALL! but perfect if you travel a lot, work long hours, or just a single guy/gal who needs a safe affordable place to live. It is a SRO so please be aware ( I make about 30... ,0000 a yr. I feel safe when I come into the building at night, parking is available if you have a parking pass, very close to bars, SF giants baseball park and just a walk away to Powell street also there is a bus stop right in front of the building SWEET!. I only pay $865 a month which is very affordable for me I work really early so all I want to do at the end of the day is go home, crash and it's perfect. I've almost never have an issue with noise, there is security watching the front door to the building (ALL DAY) which you need a code to enter. The only issue I have had is once I had bed bugs ( I believe it was one of my neighbors had them) but as soon as I spoke with the building manager I had the issue resolved by the end of the week. Its a month to month agreement which is very ideal for me because I plan on purchasing a home soon and helps me build my rental history.
