Honest Review
While the units are beautifully remodeled and “modern” compared to others out there, there are several significant issues that affect everyday comfort and should be seriously considered before moving in.
If your unit faces or is near the main street, expect constant traffic noise throughout the day/ night. Even with double-paned windows, the sound still comes through a lot. This is not a quiet street, and light sleepers will struggle with ongoing noise. The front and back gates are also very... loud when opening and closing and heard throughout the entire complex. Units near the gates are especially affected, but even farther units will still hear it regularly.
A major drawback is the cooling situation. Most, if not all units only come with a single AC unit in the living room, which does not cool the bedrooms. During hot months, bedrooms are uncomfortably hot and difficult to sleep in. I’ve noticed some people purchase their own mini splits or additional AC units just to make the bedrooms livable, which feels frustrating considering the rent being paid. Basic climate control in all rooms feels like something that should already be included at this price point rather than an added personal expense!!!
The complex is also very brightly lit at night, which contributes to a sense of security but negatively impacts sleep. Light easily enters bedrooms through blinds, making blackout curtains necessary for many people.
Carport parking spaces are tight and can be difficult to maneuver, especially for larger vehicles. While the property is well-lit, the spaces themselves feel constrained. There is also only one main entrance/exit to access the carport in the back, which can occasionally create congestion when cars are entering and exiting at the same time.
While the community is generally quiet and people keep to themselves, there are occasional issues with smoke odors (WEED) despite a non-smoking policy in the lease.
One thing I’ve also noticed is what seems like a higher turnover rate compared to what you would expect. People appear to move out fairly often, which says something about long-term comfort or overall satisfaction in the complex.
Overall, the apartments look great on the surface and photograph well, but day-to-day livability comes with several consistent drawbacks across the entire complex rather than just specific units. It’s worth seriously considering whether those factors align with your lifestyle before committing, especially at this price!
