Disappointment Beware it wasn't always like this!

The ONLY thing commendable about these apartments is the location. Outside of that, you're headed for a non-caring, absent, "new" management team. Summer Hill has had 3 different management firms "managing" the complex. The latest mgmt company took over 12/27/2021; known as Sequoia/Elevate management is abhorrent. They do not return calls for service work orders, and unfriendly management staff the "workers" renovating which is understandable but these guys are loud, singing, radios blasting… arguing with each other, and basically visiting & partying among themselves more than actually renovating! Our lease prohibits violations of peaceful enjoyment. Appliances do not work, you can't get in or out of the secure gates, or into the building to get to your apartment. You'll have to manually let visitors, and delivery personnel in, or the packages are left outside - unattended! This complex is in no way secure due to the vandalism, theft, and people able to access the premises thru wholes in the fences. Some intruders simply jump the fence. If you call right now, an automated message will tell you "there's a problem with the system, please call back." They just don't care, and there is no on-site personnel to supervise and maintain the integrity of these apartments!

The management is very unfriendly and non-cooperative

I have been living here for few years. Truth to be told there are very few things that you would like about this apartment. On the other hand, there are tons of things to complain about.

One good thing, the property is well decorated inside. You would feel good seeing the trees inside.

On the other hand, there are lots of homeless around this property and many time they come inside the property. Stealing of parcels from porch is not infrequent.

The management is very unfriendly, they don't… improve things that are of common concern - for example, there are scarcity of waste bins and laundry facility which are often broken.

Rather, the authority always threats you to add fine if you do this or that. They even threat that they would charge on work order.

Finally, I don't think this place is worthy of being the sweet home.

Staff is outstanding

Nikki and Jose are on top of everything here. Nikki makes it a point to respond to every emailed request I've sent, and Jose is diligent in maintenance. Issues, which are few, are addressed quickly.

Thanks for all these years it had been great living at this apartment Nikki and Jose are the best people ever.

Jose has been great to me and my sister since we have been living here whenever we needed something fixed he took care of it right away .
Nikki also has been great always listen when something was wrong or if we needed something fixed she took care of it right away. I enjoy my time living at summer hill and i will miss this place. They both make sure you are being taking care of. APT .29

I’ve been on this apartment since 2011
The place is nice, quiet and clean and the manager Nikki is so nice and kind and Mona and Jose as well. The apartment is doing lots of renovations. The apartment is near bart station and store and restaurants it’s very accommodating place and school as well..
