A great college apartment
I lived at Brazil Heights for just over 2 years and I and my roommate had a great experience. The apartment itself was pretty standard for college living: the appliances are very dated, but functional. For 2 people it was plenty of space, and it was pretty clean when we arrived (just the bathtub was a bit questionable). There is laundry in the complex and I rarely had to wait to use them.
But what really made it great was the onsite manager Grant and the maintenance man Greg. They were... absolutely outstanding. They are extremely friendly and on top of it. We didn't need too much maintenance during our time (another good thing), but when we did Grant and Greg were always quick to reply and handle the problem. I feel like they cared about us as individuals which is special. I can't overstate how wonderful they are.
Moving out the cleaning expectations were reasonable. However despite having a stellar exit review, we still got dinged 150 for "painting". So keep that in mind.
Overall the complex itself is nothing fancy, but it works for a college apartment. What really makes it great is Grant and Greg who gave us as first time renters a wonderful experience.
