The Meadows

The meadows is a nice apartment in a good location off of Kawana Spring BLVD in Santa Rosa. It is well maintained and the staff is courteous and prompt with requests. The apartment has washer and dryer on site. The apartment also has a hot tub and a pool which is always very clean and gets plenty of sun.

Oh brother! Can't help but wonder about the "genuine" rating of the tenant who claims to have lived at this over-priced apartment complex for "22 years and counting'! Don't be sold on this recommendation folks! It sounds bogus.

We also lived at this over-rated apartment complex for more than 21 years and couldn't wait to vacate it. The last few years of our residency were plagued with loud, crude, rude neighbors, drug busts, assigned parking spaces that were constantly being occupied by... people not authorized to park in those spaces, barking dogs, fast and frequent rent increases (we experienced three within a one year's period), outrageous water, sewage and garbage bills and a succession of lack-luster community directors who were interested in everything but the welfare and safety of their tenants.

One of the primary reasons for us vacating was the decline of safe living in that particular area. During the last 10 years of our tenancy, we saw gang related activities increase in the area and our apartment complex was the victim of many stolen car and car vandalism incidences. We, ourselves, were victimized when both our cars were vandalized one early morning. I guess you could say we were lucky in that our cars were not stolen like a few other tenant's cars were.

There are so many other safer, nicer and more professionally managed places to live other than The Meadows. Check it out. Read More

I'm the second longest resident at the Meadows, and we have a great centralized location (across from Target Marketplace), lots of washers and dryers on site, lots of greenery (grass, plants, trees), and a very friendly manager. There's a pool and jacuzzi for those people who are dolphins and mermaids, and a BBQ area to the right of the pool. The apartments are set up in quads (4 on one side attaching to 4 on the other). My apartment is roomy, has vaulted ceilings and two full bathrooms. There is even a hallway, that makes it seem less like an apartment. have a west facing view on the second floor, so I get an unobstructed view of the sunset. The pool and barbecue area are kept very clean as are the complex grounds.
