Plaza at Sherman Oaks

walls are paper thin and management does literally nothing when neighbors make excessive noise. Our upstairs neighbor has woken up our sleeping baby oin the middle of the night constantly over the last year several times. We went though all of the appropriate channels to deal with this civilly but management makes absolutely no concessions. We are far from the only family to deal this kind of issue, our other friend's neighbor plays metal at 3 in the morning and management takes no concrete or… definitive action or make any attempts at reasonable accommodation. We asked for a lateral transfer to a different unit and they're solution was making us sign an entirely new lease. If you like this place for the prospect of safety well no luck there, break ins are routine, gates are very typically broken and garages are available to anyone throughout the night. The women's sauna has been broken for the entire time we've lived there.

I moved to The Plaza last year and I have been loving it the amenities are amazing the neighbors are very friendly and the staff is very friendly as well the only downside is of course it is on the expensive side but it is definitely worth every penny would highly recommend!

This review is from my personal experience with the property.

I moved into The Plaza at Sherman Oaks in March 2020. I looked at dozens of other places and settled on a unit right on Woodman Ave. I felt a little rushed in my decision, but it ticked most of the boxes I was looking to fill. All apartment living has its concessions, but this place was on another level. I could never recommend this place to anyone.

The property is rather filthy. Many residents leave their leaky trash bags outside… their doors, which is a fire hazard not to mention disgusting. Another big problem was people not cleaning up after their pets in the hallways on the carpets or even in the elevators.

*Warning* The noise from the traffic on Woodman Ave is defining and at all hours of the day. If you absolutely must rent here try to get a unit further away from the streets if one is available. Especially if you want to enjoy your patio or balcony.

The only semi-okay part about the property was the Stockwell vending service and the Parcel Pending lockers. Read More
