Greedy new management - they are cheaper places
If the ridiculous rent price didn't discourage you here are some more reasons to hate this place:
1. Despite the 15% rent hike last year, the new management is unwilling to fix critical fixtures like 40 year old windows, screens, and plumbing. It is either unavailable or can't be fixed because it's too old. If you like 50F air seeping through your window at 3 AM, then this apartment is for you.
2. For the newcomers: Don't let the new furnishing and shiny floors fool you. The foundation is... decayed and flimsy. The residents used to joke that we were risking our lives at the expense of cheaper rent. Cheaper rent is old news. The surrounding area rocks if someone closes a door nearby. Did I mention the bottom residents always have a leaking problem and termites swarm during summer? Do you also like taking showers and suddenly the water pressure drops and cold water starts pouring out?
3. The recent surge of renters are unhygienic, and their gamey food stinks up the entire complex during meal time. Not surprisingly the washing machines smell exactly like them. Also, they are too good to throw trash bags into the bins, so they let the bags rot under the sun.
4. Dogs yapping whenever someone passes nearby. A great way to relax during weekends.
5. Unmaintained pools with dead bugs and debris floating.
6. Management is greedy. They are systematically trying to kick out the long term residents so they can make more money bringing in new people. This place used to have no vacancy year round because it was such a bargain. Now I see empty rooms everywhere and people leave within a year.

Almost good place
Have lived here for awhile and it used to be better when there was a manger living in the building in the building. Now people take advantage, do what they want, people in a two bedroom a lot of one bedrooms with 3 people. No pets, but you here and see dogs barking as you walk thru.
Two many people in the apartments so kids run crazy thru it, no parent watches their time off iguess. So we suffer noise and noise.
Trash builds up overflows no one cares, just dump it on the ground or throw from... second floor down Miss, oh well.
Too many people in apartments, management just wants to raise rent, so they look thee other way.
Could be very nice, too many people don't care.

Commodore
The managers for this complex are terrible in every aspect possible. The maintenance people will go into your apartment unannounced with no future notice and make a mess without even cleaning after themselves. One day I was at work and came home to water spilled from the front door entrance all along the hallway to the bedroom. The apartments water heater is located in the bedroom. At first I thought someone had broken into my apartment so it caused me to freak out and start checking for all my... valuables. There was a trail of dirt and trash along with the water so I decided to open the little closet that houses the water heater. I soon realized that the water heater had been replaced with a new one but it puzzled me as to why they even replaced it. The original water heater worked perfectly fine. It really made me feel uncomfortable and uneasy for the simple fact that this was done with no future notice and while I was at work. Every time I had an issue with something needing repair due to its old age I would have to wait months before they even bothered trying to fix it. All in all very unsatisfied.

Family Friendly Apartment
Beautiful apartment. Walking in I quickly notice all the greenery, two pools, and all the friendly neighbors. The apartment unit has a large living room perfect for family gatherings. Two bedrooms, two baths, a cozy kitchen, and a balcony just perfect for enjoying a nice cup of morning coffee.
