Casa Del Riverside Apartments

Huge apartment with big closets and plenty of cabinets. The neighbors are very nice and the pool is always clean.

Casa Del Riverside is a family-friendly building, with a great swimming pool and all the common areas well maintained. My apartment is very large and comfortable with central air, which is essential in the Valley! The only thing I don't like much is the carpet but since I live on the 3rd floor, there's not much to be done about it. Dan, the manager, is very helpful and very polite. I definitely recommend Casa del Riverside.

My husband and I moved into Casa Del Riverside 3 years ago, and it was our first "grown up"apartment. We had previously lived in the heart of North Hollywood and while it was nice to be able to walk to bars like The Federal and Bow and Truss, it was super loud all the time, and the rents were just getting to be sky high for what we were getting. (Often dirty pools, rude neighbors, and a non stop slew of 18 year olds fresh off the boat from the midwest with dancer dreams)

Casa Del Riverside is… in a very safe, quiet neighborhood between Laurel Canyon and Colfax. We were 27 when we moved in, and now we are 30- it has been such a stellar choice for a really affordable amount. We have a one bedroom, one bathroom, and nearly 800 square feet. That is as big as some houses here in Los Angeles! Our very spacious balcony overlooks Riverside and the Burbank mountains: the sunsets are amazing to watch. There is a laundry room on each of the 3 floors, and 2 working elevators.

There is a nice mixed bag in this 108 unit building. A good amount of young couples (ages 30-40) who work in the entertainment industry (like us!), several elderly retired couples, and also families of 3, 4, and 5. The families stay in the units overlooking the pool (which is always clean) for the most part, and we've had very little issue with noise or screaming children. (The walls are thick, unlike most apartments in the valley)

The rent is so affordable, (and has gone up very little in the 3 years we have been here) and the neighborhood itself is lovely and serene lined with quaint houses and small apartment complexes. Within walking distance to Gelsons, Starbucks, Subway, Jack in the Box, Menchies, dry cleaning, and several busses. You are about 1.5 miles from the redline subway- a good walk or short bus ride away. Even being on a major street like Riverside, we don't really hear the cars very much, and don't have issues with sleeping due to traffic noises.

You have covered, gated parking, and the street parking if you have friends visit is very good most days- lots of space for everyone, and no street cleaning signs- hooray!

Maintenance is quick. Aside from the occasional spider here and there in the summer time, there are no issues with bugs! An affordable place in the valley that is 10 mins from Hollywood, 10 from Burbank, and 2 mins to Studio City. The 101, 170, and 134 are all a block away.
