North Tower Apts

The apartments might look well polished from outside but it is full of cockroaches even if they spray it doesn't work. Management is very nice once you enter the building with a lot of promises but once you sign the contract it every promise magically disappear. whatever is asked put it in writing otherwise they will deny it. make sure you look at the contract very closely before you sign it.

I have lived in this property for about a year--I look forward to my staying here. Professionally managed, great On-Site Management team---I can put in my work orders via my on-line portal and make my rent payments. So many conveniences--elevators and parking are great. Quiet and clean building-

If you are looking for a glamorous building, this is not for you. This is not the neighborhood where you see people jogging, it is a neighborhood where you may sometimes see the occasional "woman of the night" taking a scroll at anytime during the day. But on to the apartment. The building is ok. Nothing too flashy. Management is pretty good. Whenever there has been an issue i've been able to get in contact with management in a timely fashion. Both apartment managers live in the building and are… typically readily available if there are any issues. If you are a person who drives the places you actually want to go and when you are home stay inside of your apartment this may the building for you. There are monthly water shut offs which can be a drag but they let you know days in advance and it typically is for a few hours during the day when most people are working. If you are looking for a state of the art gym, this is not the building for you. The gym has one or two machines and smells horrible. The sauna has been out of service for the year I have lived here, though I doubt I would ever use it anyway. The pool is ok. It goes up to 4 feet, and is cleaned daily. Now on to the inside of the apartment. There are faux wood floors which look nice, a gas fireplace which turns on with the flick of a switch (very nice touch) long balconies which can fit a small grill, The bathroom is newly renovated with a large mirror, and plenty of cabinet space to store toiletries, towels, clothes, cleaning supplies etc. the bedroom has a full length mirror closet which is big enough for two people, with shelves on top.The kitchen is also newly renovated with new refrigerators, and stoves, as well as a pretty nice looking faux marble counter top. There is enough space for a full living room set up as well as dining room table. All in all the apartment is nice and can be pretty cozy looking depending on how you decorate. Now on to issues. I hear a lot about roaches and bed bugs in apartments in LA. I have never had bed bugs in my apartment. Roaches I have had on a few occasions. There is not a roach problem here however. I've had a total of 4 roaches in a one year time span. Each I saw individually. I keep my apartment extremely clean, not quite sure how they found there way in but its been months since I spotted one. I believe if you keep your apartment clean this should not be a problem.
