Bad management.
This place was nice when the owners of Buena Fortuna apartments owned this place, but then AKS Enterprises took over and they have since jacked up the rent even though the quality of life has since gone down. The first time they raised the rent, Mr. Priah, the Manager of Casa Bonita explained that he adjusted the water pressure and so he raised the rent to balance the cost, the thing was he actually decreased our water pressure. He rents out to anyone no matter how trashy or dangerous. People... are up at all hours of the night screaming, fighting, doing drugs, and drinking alcohol in the courtyard. Trash litters the entire complex. It stinks. Many ornamental plants have been torn down to the trunks and stems and left to rot. He does not fix broken air conditioners or treat mold. Several apartments suffered from serious leaks and water damage from the last winter's rain storms, requiring temporary eviction of tenents who were most affected. This millionaire of an apartment manager does not like to spend money unless it is to build new complexes and homes from which he can make more money. Beware thos who work at night or very early in the morning, because the apartment manager will not calibrate the lights to turn on when they ought to be on, and transients camp on the premises. People frequently pull up to the street side curb next to the apartment windows and blast their horns to get someone's attention. People will do vehicle maintenance right in the middle of our driveway with their vehicles and parts blocking our assigned spaces.
If you like waking up to people chasing each other around the walkways banging on windows, screaming, and fighting with each other at any given hour of work nights, this is the place for you. If you like waking up to someone knocking on your door and bedroom window at 3 in the morning, and then sneak away as you answer through the window holding your gun or bat for defense, this is also the place for you.
