First experience renting
This was my first time renting. Initially, I was super excited to have my own place! After being there for a month, problems started popping up. In the summer time, we all know it gets really hot and yet, the dinky wall a/c did not work. The apartment always smelled funny and I kept getting headaches from it. Then, roaches started to appear. I am a very clean person & I totally flipped out when I saw one as big as my hand. Then, I started finding tiny ones crawling around the carpet, the walls,... it was disturbing! Finally, I inspected the whole place carefully & discovered holes, one of which I could peak into the neighbors kitchen. (CREEPY!) I also discovered hidden roach poison boxes that I never put. Finding parking was a pain & worse for my visitors.
The manager Andrea was really nice. The apartment size was great, perfect for 2. I didn’t know or really see my neighbors & had no problems... except for stompzilla living above me. If the A/C worked and didn’t smell, & if there were no roaches, that place would be perfect.
