The Glen at Briargate

Very disappointed. They’ll show you a renovated apartment then they’ll move you into an old outdated apartment unit. I moved in to a dirty apartment full of cat hair which I’m allergic to. Cat hair was inside the oven, in the vents, door frames, all over the ac unit as well. There was cat pee on top of the fridge. I couldn’t stay in the apartment for the first days until it was clean. When I moved out I cleaned the carpets and left the apartment cleaner than I found it in yet I still got charged... for cleaning and I didn’t get my full deposit back. The dishwasher was always breaking and they would just take parts from a dishwasher in an unoccupied apartment to fix it so the dishwasher kept breaking. They’re quick to charge you when you move in but it will take them more than a month to give you back your security deposit which you will not get in full no matter what. The apartments haven't been updated since the 90s, got very dated stuff except in a few that they'll do showings in. My main issue with them is that they'll make you clean the apartments and still charge you for it when you move. Additionally find really flimsy reasons to keep all or most of your security deposit.

This place is close to everything that makes you feel like you live in the city. Its across from the mall and the mountains are always in view. Parking space is limited, so please don't bring a lot of cars with you. The place is moderately clean as long as you pick up after yourself. There are TON'S of amenities and for a fair price everything is included in your monthly bill. I've enjoyed staying here, so hopefully you will too.
