I would love to spread the word about how beautiful my first month has been at Welton Park Apartments! Very spacious, must have insulated walls because the noise heard from inside out is minimal and I love to listen to music and have had no complaints about noise disturbances, and last but not least the location is absolutely perfect for and metro ride you would need to take! Just be cautious if walking to have anything you wouldn't want jacked to be put away secure because I did have someone… rob my JBL 6 Speaker a block over but thats nothing to do with Welton Park Apartments just want everyone to be safe & secure! I don't usually post reviews, but I felt compelled to warn the general public about this awful property. I have unfortunately lived at Welton Park for a long and miserable four years. I have had so many unpleasant experiences while living on this property, I'm not sure where to begin. The crime rate is unbelievable. In the four years that I have lived on this property, there have been five shootings and one assault that I'm aware of. The police department is on and around the property at least… once or twice a week. The noise pollution around and on this property, inside and outside is ridiculous. Constantly listening to obnoxious blaring sirens, loud traffic and noisy people all hours of the day and night. Peace and quiet is pretty much non-existent on this property. This property is not kept clean and tidy either. The property most of the time, looks dirty and unkept. The property outside is constantly littered with trash. The residents will throw trash in the stairwells and hallways and leave their unwanted furniture and other household items in the hallways. The walls, carpets, and doors are rarely cleaned in common areas, inside and outside of the building. The leasing staff are unfriendly, rude and unprofessional. Everytime I have entered the leasing office needing assistance, I've always received a negative vibe from the leasing staff and I've been made to feel like I'm bothering them. The leasing staff doesn't fairly enforce the property rules either. I have witnessed certain residents break property rules with no consequences, while others receive lease violations on their doors. The turnover rate in the leasing office is ridiculous also. It seems like we have new leasing staff every six months. The residents on this property are also unfriendly, rude and inconsiderate. On many occasions, I have been harassed and bullied by a few different residents, when I did nothing to provoke it. The residents also, will forcefully slam their front doors, hit their walls and ceilings and stomp throughout their apartments anytime of day or night with no care that they might be disturbing their neighbors. Maintenance is not that great either. I have submitted several maintenance requests that were never resolved and one of the two dryers in the laundry room has been out of service for months. The office team are professional and attentive. They go above and beyond to assist the residents. It goes without saying that the location is amazing.

I have read some negative reviews that are completely unwarranted and for reasons that are wrong.
