Beautiful space, unfortunate issues

First, let me say I love my apartment. I am in a ground level, corner unit in a 2-story building. My unit has nice high ceilings, beautiful cabinets, heating under each sink for days when your feet get cold, nice neutral colored walls, and easy-to-clean laminate flooring. My rent is very reasonable, and Internet access is only an extra $10/month. I am also able to regulate the temperature very well. That being said, I do have to take issue with a few things. The day we moved in, there were... contractors fixing the door to the patio, but the "fix" actually caused an issue with the lock which I cannot get their help with. The water in both toilets is not consistently enough to flush well, and sometimes the toilets seem clogged, without being clogged. If you rent this unit, keep your plunger ready. The light fixtures in my kitchen require $8 track light bulbs, which I am required to purchase and replace on my own, yet I do not own a ladder, and would be unable to store one. I have to stand on my kitchen counter, the skinny part in front of the sink, to replace the incredibly awkward track light bulbs. Our shower in the master bath was installed incorrectly, so it leaked on the inside of the wall. This caused water damage to the floor in that bath AND master bedroom due to a month long period of troubleshooting with several different contractors. The doors to the closet in the entryway used to stick, so one of the handles came off the door and no longer will screw back in. These issues have gone without much attention from the property manager, so I have given up trying to get them to fix things. I do, however, really like the property manager and leasing agent. They are great, and they are still working on solving issues with the noise levels of the children who live in the neighborhood. After all is said and done, it's not perfect, but it's home.
