Pines at Southmoor Apartments

when I first moved, the place wasn't bad. It was a little dated but seemed well maintained. I soon learned this was a facade and it wasn't well maintained. The appliances are all very old and turn on, that's it. they don't actually work. The dish washer requires that you scrub every square inch before use and the fridge freezes everything in the back and spoils everything in the front. When I tried getting this fixed they simply said it's cold so it works. The apartments used to be smoke free... when I first moved in but they changed that on the down low and didn't alert anyone to the change. They also do not have faux wood blinds or mini blinds like advertised instead they use vertical blinds that do absolutely nothing to block out the sun. They also do not allow window units on the first floor even though the first floor doesn't have AC. This was also a recent change when I first moved in window units were allowed. The onsite laundry is terrible it leaves holes or damages your clothing and the laundry room is always in terrible shape... unless they are showing someone around. The "gym" is missing half of the weights and multiple machines do not work. The only benefits are the pool and the location and the price. Read More

The office staff and maintenance are great, very personable!

Poor maintenance of the buildings and they never fix any problems within the appartmens. Price of living is outrageous, most definitely not worth their prices

The Apartment it's self is small, and nothing is updated before you move in my bath is my biggest compliment other than that The landlords are amazing they get to your work orders immediately and your lease signing isn't very stressful either. They also give you a heads up if there is going to be construction or if they need to work on the water so that your prepared.
