About The Bentley Apartments

The Bentley, comprising 4 boutique apartment buildings located at 15, 19, 23, and 27 Chapman Street in Downtown East Hartford, have both vintage and remodeled studio apartments for rent as well as 1 bedroom apartments.

Remodeled studios ($975)... have sparking refinished hardwood floors, chic brand new kitchens and bathrooms with condo finishes and are freshly painted. Vintage studios ($885) either have carpets or hardwood floors with original fixtures.

Vintage 1 bedrooms vary in size and range from $1,000 to $1,275 a month. All units include FREE HEAT & HOT WATER and come with 1 off street parking space.

Located on a quiet side street just off Main Street in Downtown East Hartford, The Bentley is across the street from the Town Green Park, a beautiful park with a bandshell and basketball courts. Within a 3 minute walk is Walgreen's Pharmancy, Key Food Supermarket, Triple A Diner, El Sabroso Pollos Peruvian Restaurant, and many more shops and restaurants.

Note: No pets allowed. $50 non refundable application fee per adult for credit/background/eviction check. Satisfactory credit. No prior evictions.

Loved the location

We loved the location close to Russell's and the gym. They remodeled the hallways and outside area and it looks great.

They DON'T clean the apartments.

When we checked out the apartment we were going to get, we found human hair in the bottom of the shower room and all over the sink in the bathroom. There was cat fur covering the bottom of the closets and right outside the front door to the apartment. We told the lady who showed up the apartment that this needed to get cleaned before we moved in, which when we did move in it was not cleaned up what so ever I have pictures to prove it as well. There are many tiles missing from the bathroom floor... and more keep coming up. The toilet in the bathroom has not been fixed either even though after we moved in I went to the office and told them about how the toilet keeps flushing. It has been over a month and nothing has been done. I've gone to the office and all she did was write the problems down on a sticky note. I never write bad reviews unless I have proof of what I'm saying is true, and I do, I have pictures.
