Sutton Views Apartment

I relocated to Sutton Views Apartments in 2024 and was welcomed by Jennifer, the building manager, who exhibited professionalism (promptly returns calls and emails, detailed explanations if needed, clear directives, available, accommodating) courtesy and kindness from our initial meeting. This is my second year on the property and I've had no issues thus far.
The well maintained grounds are always clean, floral areas and parking areas are also well maintained. Quiet living space, limited… traffic and I do feel safe at all times.

The worst complex

Living in this complex for was the worst living experiences I’ve ever had. The management is unresponsive and unprofessional, often ignoring maintenance requests for weeks, if they respond at all. The building itself is poorly maintained, with frequent issues like broken elevators, dirty common areas, and inadequate heating/cooling.

Noise is a constant problem, with thin walls that do nothing to block out sound from neighbors. The parking situation is also a nightmare.

To top it all off,… they’ve been extremely slow in returning my security deposit (2 month). It’s clear that once you sign the lease, they couldn’t care less about your experience.

I would strongly advise anyone considering moving here to look elsewhere. It’s not worth the stress and frustration.

Lovely 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment! I love the location in which we’re located and our management office is very hands on! && who wouldn’t love a free gym space and pool area ?! 100 recommend!

THE WORST!

The worst of the worst complex anyone could live in, we had a snow storm this weekend and they didn’t even think about removing the snow piles out in the parking I work on the weekends and my car was stuck several times. I just got home after a long day of work and found no space to park, not even in the visitors spot. No one cares, not the complex management, not the maintenance people and clearly not the owners. They don’t care about the safety or convince of the tenants. I really Dont know… how the town of Hamden still hasn’t taken action on the many complains on this complex. This is not the only complain, the management isn’t the best, they rarely pick ip the phone. Maintenance doesn’t pick up the phone, what if we have an emergency?!!!!. The apartment I am in has many issues, tickets are have been open forever with no action.
I ALWAYS have a problem that needs to be fixed
Don’t be deceived by the published pictures
It is the worst and I mean the worst complex in the neighborhood. FOR THE RENT PRICE HERE YOU CAN GET A MUCH BETTER PLACE!!!
