Nice calm place to live

This complex is very well maintained from winter into summer. They have a maintenance team that responds very promptly which is appreciated when you have questions and concerns.

While moving here, I expressed to Karen how I needed a quiet place to live after living in a nightmare of an apartment which was my previous apartment complex. She assured me that people here are respectful and respect the “quiet hours” schedule that we have here. I can come home and rest peacefully after a hard day of… work. Most days you can’t even tell your neighbors are home, that’s how quiet it can be.

They have a pool, gym and basketball court that is always well maintained which is a plus. I can see myself staying here a while if everything can remain the same as it has this past year. Thank you Horizon homes for the hospitality!

Great experience

All the team here at Horizon Homes has been great! They’ve been super accommodating, supportive, and understanding. They are thorough in directions which is also helpful. Any urgent matters are always handled quickly and professionally, which really gives me peace of mind. 24 hour Maintance call line is a plus!!!! They have a pool that is open Memorial Day to Labor Day, dog park, basketball court and gym!

I truly can’t say enough good things about everyone on the team. Living here has been… an amazing experience, and I honestly can’t imagine moving to another apartment!

Great value for the money

Rented an apartment here for two years. It was a great price, a safe environment, and well managed. If you are looking for a place in Naugatuck, you should check them out for sure.

Overall good but poor communication

Overall, a good place to live- it is safe, has a great neighborhood, people are friendly. At the start of living there, we felt very welcomed, and whenever we had a maintenance issue we were gladly helped.

However, as the year went on, maintenance became less responsive, the office was mostly closed and the worker there would rarely get back to me on phone calls and some emails. Fortunately, it did not affect me much, but I felt less supported. The biggest issue was surrounding the pool. More… often than not, it was closed (despite beautiful summer days!) and there was very poor communication with tenants with hour changes. It honestly became very shady in terms of having available lifeguards but the pool being closed either way without further communication to tenants. It was a real shame and had horizon homes had a better way of communicating and listening to tenants, I would not be as disappointed in the company as I currently am.

Amazing !

Not only is this a beautiful place, the leasing agents are very professional yet personable. They keep in contact with you regarding everything, their communication is excellent! The apartment itself is large and has plenty of closet space. The kitchen is very cute as well, lots of cabinet space and updated appliances and also includes a microwave. I love my deck too perfect for meditation or just to relax after a long day working. It's a very scenic area. I look forward to the years to come… living here.
