The eastern reaches of Texas’ easternmost city, Orange, encompass the more urban sectors of the city directly across the Adams Bayou from West Orange. Stretching to the waters of the Sabine River, which also happens to be the border of Texas and Louisiana, East Orange comprises a charming and relatively walkable residential area that includes several parks, the Stark Museum of Art, and a variety of entertainment and dining options. The city of Orange remains an active industrial center because of its location near the Gulf of Mexico. East Orange also enjoys the products of the fruitful waters to the south with several seafood restaurants and an active fishing industry.
