Phoenix Apartments

DO NOT WALK, RUN FROM THIS PLACE!!! I used to live here and they are the worst! Every time something breaks it is almost impossible to get it repaired! The whole apartment complex is basically bandaid together! They try to rip you off when you move out. They gave people a one week notice to leave or get rid of their animals after allowing animals for years, then tried keeping your deposit after you leave. The worst and most stressful apartment complex I’ve dealt with! The blinds broke they... wouldn’t come out to fix them, the doors from the closets fall off and they don’t come to fix it, my apartment basically flooded and they made us clean it up and taped and siliconed over the leak still had a small leak basically like pulling teeth to get them back out there! I've lived at Phoenix Apartments for several years, and have watched many managers come and go, but I think the parent company has finally hired a manager who know what customer service is about. This past Saturday the manager actually walked around and met some of the people who live here, and talked with us about our particular situation. Absolutely the worst place to live. The only reason I lived they was it was cheap (you get what you pay for) and it was close to work. The units are old, rotten wood on the balconies, outdated fixtures. And the property manager lied about damages to the apartment when I moved out and hired a collection agency to come after me for damages beyond the security deposit and pet security deposit that they would not return. The new management company is continuing to upgrade the property. They have a new onsite manager who is very customer service oriented. They are older apartments but for their age they provide a clean, comfortable - and affordable - place to live.

I have lived at Phoenix for almost five years. When my lease is up I plan to renew again. Management is nice and they take care of any issues as quickly as they can.
