High Ridge Landing

This is a long one from a tenured resident in the community.

As a resident of the community for over 8 years, seriously, do not move here. Parking is abysmal, about a dozen or so guest spots for the entire community, goodluck if you live in the north side, there are none. People parking on curbs making it difficult to get through the neighborhood.

A few months before my wife and I moved out, we were coming through the gate of the north entrance and someone was trying to pull into their spot.… You'd think they'd have a sensor or something to not close on vehicles. Wrong. The gate closed and dug into the side of my car and absolutely wrecked the back door and quarter panel. They were missing the footage of this and thus I was not able to submit this to our insurance. Not to mention the gates stay open for months on end so what is the point in advertising this complex as gated when it rarely is. Dog poop constantly on sidewalks, the walls are PAPER THIN. If you have a baby/new born, or just like peace and quiet. DO NOT MOVE HERE. We were on the second floor when we had our baby and the person above us blasted music constantly and at 6am would walk around in heels daily. It was hell and we quite literally had to move apartments into a top floor unit. It made no difference because we could hear the people next to us fighting constantly, music blasting at 1030-11pm at night.

There is SO much more detail I could go into about this awful community but I will leave it at this. When we moved out, the final day of my lease I tried to return my key fobs/mailbox key at about 4pm in the afternoon on Friday January 30th (they are open until 6pm monday - friday) and for some reason, the person in the office was not there and the doors were locked. So be it, tried to drop them off on Monday the 2nd at 4:30pm, and the person in the office was at lunch? Weird time for lunch, waited a bit then called the maintenance manager, told him the deal and he said just come back tomorrow. So I did, showed up about 5pm the following day and they tried to tell me after signing my change of address paperwork that i owed them for 4 days worth of pro-rated rent for the unit since I didnt drop off my keys on the final day of my lease. They even sent it to collections. Absolute scumbags, even after THE OWNER OF THE COMMUNITY a year earlier, reached out to me personally for negative testimonial about their awful trash service so they could break their contract with the company.
