The Landings at Crystal Cove

I stayed for a year and while I loved my apartment, I was calling AT LEAST once a month (sometimes having to stay on them) to fix my air conditioner. Did you know air conditioning is considered an amenity in Florida? Not a requirement.

I have been here for two weeks, and so far everything is okay, except for my move-in process, which was a NIGHTMARE. The ladies in the office are exceptionally nice and helpful, and so are the maintenance staff. However, I have a list of grievances:

1. I was told my security deposit was going to be a certain amount via email, and then when I came in to sign the lease and move in, the deposit had increased.
2. I had no AC for a WEEK after my move in date!
3. The apartment had very clearly not… been cleaned or inspected before my arrival: the whole place (still) smells like cigarettes, there was a broken window, missing lightbulbs, and other miscellaneous issues that should have been addressed before I arrived.
4. I had to go into the office every single day for the first week I was here to get the issues fixed that should have been fixed before I even got here. My broken window still isn't fixed, and it has been two weeks.

Altogether, the apartment itself is mediocre, but I am a teacher so I had to go with the cheapest option available in the area. Disappointed in how my move in was handled, and wouldn't recommend to a friend unless they can't afford anything better. Again, the staff are wonderful, but this is not the "oasis" it is named after. The staff is good, the rent is a pretty good price, but the Apartments, aren't that great!! The ENTIRE place is NOT cleaned before you move in. They just SPRAY PAINT EVERYTHING, when I say EVERYTHING, I literally mean it!! Counter tops,kitchen sinks,A/C vents, breaker boxes, inside the cabinets, tub, yes the tub!! Again they do NOT clean before doing that si be sure to have a floor mat to stand on in shower or the dust and dirt that was painted on with hurt your feet. The bedroom window was/is… broke (won't seal shut) luckily it's on the 3rd floor. The blinds ate are absolutely DISGUSTING with I don't even know what. My mailbox was JAMMED PACKED with someone else's mail, I couldn't even get into it, my jet doesn't work, like its not the right key, you can pull it open enough to pull the mail out (ripping it) which mean ANYONE can get access. I've told then twice about it, still hasn't been fixed or replaced (whole thing NEEDS to be replaced)
But like i said, rent is good price, location is okay, neighbors are extremely loud and rude about how loud they are (all hours) luckily can't really hear them inside. Read More

I have been here since October and have NEVER been able to use the pool. Right now they say it is closed due to COVID but i was also told by an office staffer that it really is closed because there is no lifeguard??!
