Leaking Ceiling for 3 weeks!

My husband and I have lived here for almost 3 years. I have enjoyed my stay here as it is quiet and the apartments are spacious for the price. Unfortunately, recently with all of the rain we have experienced a few leaks in the ceiling. The first leak (about 3 months ago) was fixed immediately. Wonderful! The most recent leak started about 3 weeks ago and has been consistently leaking onto our bed since. I have to leave a huge bucket on half of the bed to ensure that our mattress isn’t damaged,… resulting in my husband having to sleep on the couch. We have contacted maintenance and talked to several people at the front desk over the phone regarding the repair of the ceiling. Maintenance orders have been “completed” but the leak remains. I have seen “roof workers” at our building a few times but the leak remains. No one has reached out regarding the projected date for the repairs to be made. We have been left in the dark. I’m so stressed and annoyed by this whole situation, as I have loved this apartment complex since we moved in. Unfortunately, we will not be resigning our lease next year due to this issue. Nice complex but there are definitely some structural issues with the roofs and maintenance/front desk employees lack communication and problem solving skills.

Quiet Awesome place to live

Office and maintenance staff are friendly, barely needed maintenance but when I did they were quick to respond. The property is always being maintained and cleaned. The price is great for the neighborhood and close to everything. The schools are great.

DO NOT MOVE HERE

The prices to this place have gone up by 30% in one shot. The doors to my apartment slow got swollen & can barely close, the walls are very thin so you have no privacy & can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing. Maintenance sucks and responds days-a week later.

Maintenance and emergency maintenance are very unprofessional

Our apartment’s sink was getting full of dirty black water and maintenance guy was supposed to go early morning then rescheduled throughout the day until it was time to leave and he never came. When we got home at the end of the day our apartment was flooded with sewer water. It was everywhere: living room, kitchen, dinning room and rooms! We called the “emergency maintenance line” and of course no answer at all. If they don’t do their job during the day what makes us think they will work at… night!? What a joke!
