Feel at home in The Blue Octopus, a 7-bedroom Destin beach retreat perfect for large families and groups. This unique property features a split layout with a 4-bedroom/3-bathroom main home and a 3-bedroom/3-bathroom carriage home, offering ample space and privacy.
The main home boasts a full kitchen thoughtfully stocked with full-size appliances, dishes, bakeware, pots and pans, silverware, utensils, a crockpot, flat griddle, toaster, blender, and both a traditional coffee maker and a Keurig. The spacious living room offers comfortable seating and standard cable TV. The carriage home features a full kitchen with bar seating for 8, a spacious living area with a sofa and love-seat, and a convenient stackable washer and dryer. Both homes offer TVs with standard cable.
An optional 6-passenger golf cart rental is available for guests age 25+ for cruising to the beach, shopping, and local restaurants. The property offers a private pool oasis with sun loungers, dining areas, cozy seating, and a fire pit. Two grills are available. Parking is plentiful, accommodating up to 7 vehicles, with room for RV/boat trailer parking. Pool heating can be added for a seasonal fee of $350 for your stay, with rates for trips over 7 days available upon inquiry. A pack-n-play, high chair, and baby stair gates are included for families. Public beach accesses are within walking or golf cart distance. The property is approximately 30 minutes from VPS airport and 15 minutes from popular destinations like HarborWalk Village, Baytowne Wharf, and Silver Sands Outlets.
Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Check-in is at 4:00 PM CST and check-out is at 10:00 AM CST. Guests must be 25 years or older with a valid license and current vehicle insurance to operate a golf cart. Events and parties are not permitted. Any cleanup of bodily fluids will result in additional cleaning and sanitation charges. Trash must be taken to the curb on Monday and Thursday evenings for pickup.
