This quiet neighborhood is tucked in between the Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico. The beach is a 2-minute walk following the boardwalk across the street, which also connects to the Santa Rosa Sound. This property is attached to the Okaloosa Island Beach Access #1 Boardwalk that goes directly to the Gulf of Mexico's beautiful sugar-white warm sandy beach. Okaloosa Island is known for its less crowded beaches and is about 10-15 minutes from Destin depending on traffic. The neighborhood is located near restaurants and bars.
The pool is temporarily closed for maintenance. Florida is known for its tropical insects; as this is a ground-floor unit, you may see pests from time to time. Please keep the door closed to prevent pests from entering the unit. The space is not child-proofed for hazards like outlet covers or chemicals under the sink; parents are responsible for child-proofing. Guests must be 18 years of age or older to book. Shoes should be removed when inside the home. Guests agree to pay a $500 smoke damage cleaning fee if any sign or smell of smoke is encountered. Pets are not allowed on the property except with prior written authorization from the host, and a $100 pet fee will be applied once approved. Guests who bring a pet without approval will be charged a $300 pet fee and immediately evicted. No events or vendors are permitted. Guests must report any damage or hazardous items within one hour of occupancy. Guests agree to pay any damage made to the property or its furnishings. Host or Host's Agent may enter the property at any time in the event of an emergency, to perform necessary repairs and/or maintenance, and with 24 hours’ notice for normal maintenance. Host shall not be liable or responsible for personal items left behind, lost or stolen. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction. Host shall not be liable to Guest, its guests or invitees or any other person for any injury, loss or damage to any person or property on or about the property. Guests must be respectful of neighbors and keep noise to a minimum, with quiet time from 10 pm to 8 am. Any disturbance triggering a visit by police will require immediate eviction. All items in the kitchen have been counted, and any item removed from the premises will be charged to the guest. Guests are asked to be respectful of bed sheets and towels, as makeup, foundation, face medications/creams, and tanning products will stain and/or bleach them. Indoor and outdoor furniture is not to be rearranged. An additional cleaning fee of double the cleaning cost can be charged if additional cleanup is required that goes above the standard cleaning.
