It's tucked between the intercoastal Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico, with the beach a 2-minute walk away. Okaloosa Island is known for its less crowded beaches and is about a 10-15 minute drive to Destin. The neighborhood is conveniently located near restaurants, bars, and tourist attractions.
Smoking is not allowed in or near the condo, including on the walkway. There is a noise ordinance in effect from 10 pm to 7 am. Check-out time is 10 am, and a $50 fine will be applied for late check-out. Guests are required to remove shoes when inside the home. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction. A $500 smoke damage cleaning fee will be charged if any sign or smell of smoke is encountered. A $100 pet fee will be applied once pets are approved, and guests who bring pets without approval will be charged a $300 fee and immediately evicted. No events or vendors are allowed on the property. Guests must report any cleaning or maintenance concerns within 2 hours of check-in. Hanging beach towels, swimsuits, or clothing over balcony, deck, or patio railings is strictly prohibited. Guests are responsible for child-proofing the unit. Any damage to the property will be charged to the guest. Host or Host's Agent may enter the property at any time in the event of an emergency, to perform necessary repairs and/or maintenance, and with 24 hours’ notice for normal maintenance. Host shall not be liable or responsible for personal items left behind, lost or stolen. Keys replacement cost $25 per key. Guests are asked to dispose of food in the available trash can. No eating of food in any bedroom is allowed. Guests shall not re-key or change out door locks. Quiet time is 10pm to 8am. Any disturbance triggering a visit by police will require immediate eviction. All items in the kitchen have been counted, and any item removed from premises will be charged to the guest. Guests are not to wash laundry belonging to the home in order to hide stains. Un-salvageable linens/bath towels will be charged to the guest. Indoor and outdoor furniture is not to be re-arranged. An additional cleaning fee of double the cleaning cost can be charged if additional cleanup is required that goes above the standard cleaning.
