This charming bungalow offers a comfortable and welcoming space, perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach. The two bedrooms are fitted with comfortable queen-size memory foam mattresses. The cute and functional kitchen is equipped with a small 2-burner electric magnetic stovetop (no oven), a microwave, and a refrigerator. All cookware and dishes are provided. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and aloe vera are provided for your convenience. The original terrazzo floors are a standout feature.
Parking is available right outside your door. An EV charger is available in a designated parking space, with usage requiring payment. Parking is first-come, first-served. A pack-n-play can be provided for an additional fee of $150, subject to location and availability.
This property is located in the quiet Bluefish neighborhood, just steps from the boardwalk, offering easy access to the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico and the island's attractions. It's tucked between the intercoastal Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico, with the beach a 2-minute walk following the boardwalk. The Santa Rosa Sound is also a minute or two away, connected to the boardwalk. Okaloosa Island is known for its less crowded beaches and is about a 10-15 minute drive from Destin. The neighborhood is located near restaurants and bars, and the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier is within walking distance.
Check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 10 am. Early check-in or late check-out requests will result in additional fees. The property is strictly non-smoking, including cigarettes, cigars, cannabis, vapes, and any other smoking products, both inside the unit and near open windows or doors. A $250 cleaning and deodorizing fee will be charged if the unit smells like smoke. Guests swim at their own risk as there is no lifeguard on duty at the beach. Due to the tropical climate, tropical insects may be encountered. The property is treated regularly for pests, but encounters are sometimes unavoidable. Snakes such as water moccasins may be seen on occasion, especially near rocks. Swimming in the bay carries risks from aquatic species. This property is not child-proofed. Guests shall remove shoes when inside the home. Quiet time is from 10 pm to 8 am. Any disturbance triggering a visit by police will require immediate eviction of all guests from the property. Guests are expected to dispose of food in the available trash can and use the garbage disposal for small food remnants only. Indoor and outdoor furniture is not to be re-arranged. Makeup/foundation, face medications/creams, and tanning products can stain or bleach linens/towels; guests are asked to avoid using regular hand/bath towels with these products. Lost or damaged keys will incur a $25 replacement cost per key. Guests must be 18 years of age or older at the time of booking.
