There are bugs all over the buildings, and the buildings are not maintained or cleaned at all. One of the hallway walls has a giant bug thats been sitting there, dead, for months. Many of these bugs will find there way into your apartment.

They inspect the alarms many times a year, takes 8 hours and is extremely loud the whole time.

Elevators are broken constantly, and they take months to repair. If you park or live on a high floor, grocery shopping or doing anything involving heavy things... will be a nightmare. The garage and building elevators have been broken since November, and its mid January.

The in-unit dish washer, clothes washer, and dryer are not very good at all. Especially the dish washer, so you will have to do most dishes by hand.

The AC is terrible, it barely cools down the room. It works more like a cheap fan. And if it gets broken it can take months to fix (2 months for us)

Also when moving in, the apartment was not clean. There was garbage behind the bed, in the sofa cushions, and dust everywhere.

The mail system is just atrocious. Nothing is ever sorted where it should be. So you need to scour the hundreds of packages in the mail room to find yours. And they delay putting the package in the mailroom, so your package is delivered but you wont be able to collect it for days.

The garage is often partially flooded whenever there is rain. No elevator so you have to walk through the puddle or climb the very filthy stairs.

Changed management a year ago. Mold is terrible (things like water flooding from ceiling or pipes bursting) and the management just blames the residents when several months later there is mold growing on walls.

Literally not worth the money. Furniture in the rooms are cheap. Looks nothing likes photos. Do not get trapped here.

It is very hard to get things done here. Management is frequently incompetent (the emails are half nonsense), the staff is largely unhelpful (it took over 2 months of maintenance requests to get my AC fixed), and they just seem keen on refusing to fix simple things (out lights, disgusting hallways, and so on). I've lived here 5 years simply out of ease, avoiding moving, and the fact that my dog is familiar with it. There are things listed on this site that are outdated or just false. The price... is outrageous for the QOL. Yes, it's furnished; yes, it's close to campus; yes, utilities are included. But this does not outweigh the cons. Everyone I know living here speaks negatively of it. If the staff and owners really want to improve things, they need to actually listen to the residents.

Yes, there is mold, the apartments are outdated, and the price is much too high for what you get; however, the worst issue is the internet.

You will not be able to connect for more than 2-3 hours before a 6-hour outage. Every day. You cannot work from home here. You cannot attend online classes here. You cannot use social media here.

Further, cell service does not work within the buildings so hotspots are not an option. Please consider your sanity before renting.
