Please do no move here
I would love to rank this building no stars, but sadly one will have to do. I've been here for 3 years and I can't wait to get out of here! There are so many issues with this building and its management. The first issue is the building in general. The building on both their 3001 and 3000 locations are both in bad disrepair. One of the elevators has been out for almost over a year and while it is back up and all elevators have a habit of dropping and just getting stuck. Doesn't even make me feel... better that they haven't had an updated inspection since 2017... Next problem is the AC doesn't even work. Right now they've have a rental cooling unit within the parking lot that is so loud I can't even sleep at night because they can't afford to fix their own cooling tower. The hallway carpets have mold and there are waterbugs/cockroaches that can be seen when you walk in through the service/back entrance.
The next issue and the worse issue is the management and association. I've never met people so nasty and unapproachable in my entire life. The day I move in, the people delivering my furniture came an hour late. I can't control when trucks make them deliveries. They REFUSED the movers from bringing my furniture to the unit and told me to sleep on the floor or in a hotel. It was only an hour of arguing with the front door man that an engineer took pity and let them up the movers. They were in my unit for a total of twenty minutes. The next issue I had was with the association and pets. While dogs and cats and even birds are allowed; smaller childrens pets like hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs apparently are not despite their regular rules and pet rules have nothing about these types of pets. I inquired to the association if they are allowed and I never got an answer. I came home late at night when one of the board members told me outside that if I wanted a dirty animal I should get a cat and that smaller animals are considered livestock from their attornies. Both state and county pet ordinance states that smaller animals are considered domestic pets just like cats or dogs. When I emailed them this information they completely ignored me. They make up rules when they feel like it and only do things that best suit them or their friends.
I am moving out and honestly I cannot wait. I refuse to pay what I am paying for a broken-down, old condo and an association thats only out for themselves. Pet friendly? Yeah right

Think Twice....Renters Beware
While perhaps having one of the best backyards on the Hollywood, Florida coastline, thats where the charm ends. Ever get ringworm from a national chain gym? Well, there's no need to pay the membership fee, you can get ringworm for free at The Residences on Hollywood Beach. A fact which was corroborated by the cleaning staff, after clarifying they hadn't cleaned the gym in 6 months. Did you want to use the sauna in the female bathroom, good luck folks it has not functioned according to... maintenance in 6 years. Please feel free to walk your dogs in the established dog patch, you can share it with the valet parkers, parking your vehicles at a break neck speed in the dark, because maintenance has refused to replace the light bulbs for six months. But, luckily your not too in the dark, as the valet often forgets to lock your dooors, shut your windows and turn off your car lights. Dont worry folks, its not all bad, we've only been without Air Conditioning 3 times in 2015 for over 48 hours. AND...iceing on the cake....multiple units, multiple hallways, and laundry rooms have black mold. Yes we've complained folks, wrote nice letters, made requests to our landlords, but unfortunately as a board member said, "we'd like to get rid of all renters, they drop the propert value." So, renters beware. While the Residences is kind to the eyes, its fungus ridden to gym rats, mal functioning to purveyors of saunas, dark and treacherous to animal lovers and down right toxic to human beings with lungs.
