Please do no move here
I would love to rank this building no stars, but sadly one will have to do. I've been here for 3 years and I can't wait to get out of here! There are so many issues with this building and its management. The first issue is the building in general. The building on both their 3001 and 3000 locations are both in bad disrepair. One of the elevators has been out for almost over a year and while it is back up and all elevators have a habit of dropping and just getting stuck. Doesn't even make me feel... better that they haven't had an updated inspection since 2017... Next problem is the AC doesn't even work. Right now they've have a rental cooling unit within the parking lot that is so loud I can't even sleep at night because they can't afford to fix their own cooling tower. The hallway carpets have mold and there are waterbugs/cockroaches that can be seen when you walk in through the service/back entrance.
The next issue and the worse issue is the management and association. I've never met people so nasty and unapproachable in my entire life. The day I move in, the people delivering my furniture came an hour late. I can't control when trucks make them deliveries. They REFUSED the movers from bringing my furniture to the unit and told me to sleep on the floor or in a hotel. It was only an hour of arguing with the front door man that an engineer took pity and let them up the movers. They were in my unit for a total of twenty minutes. The next issue I had was with the association and pets. While dogs and cats and even birds are allowed; smaller childrens pets like hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs apparently are not despite their regular rules and pet rules have nothing about these types of pets. I inquired to the association if they are allowed and I never got an answer. I came home late at night when one of the board members told me outside that if I wanted a dirty animal I should get a cat and that smaller animals are considered livestock from their attornies. Both state and county pet ordinance states that smaller animals are considered domestic pets just like cats or dogs. When I emailed them this information they completely ignored me. They make up rules when they feel like it and only do things that best suit them or their friends.
I am moving out and honestly I cannot wait. I refuse to pay what I am paying for a broken-down, old condo and an association thats only out for themselves. Pet friendly? Yeah right
