Not recommend

My wife and I had to pay the application fee ($100 each) and the $250 deposit to even see a unit. There were no photos online of the 2 bedroom Begonia layout or even a picture of a floor plan on their website so we did not know what the unit looked like. Once we were allowed to see the unit, we found mold directly in front of the entrance of the unit.

When we discussed what we found with management, their solution was to pressure wash it and pour bleach on it. Since my wife became very ill from… mold in the past, we weren't comfortable going through with their cleaning process. We asked for a different unit but there were none available. We decided not to move in. We didn’t want to potentially risk my wife falling ill again when it took her close to a decade to heal. Keep in mind, this was all communicated to management.

At the end, they still had tenants move in because we referred our friends to Watersound Origins Crossings but management was not willing to work with us.

A total of $450 down the drain.

We want to assure you that we take… all reports of mildew/mold very seriously, and our team took immediate steps to address the issue using industry-standard remediation methods. We genuinely regret that this situation led to your decision not to move in, despite a reasonable solution being offered.

Unfortunately, due to limited availability at the time of your cancellation, we were unable to offer you an alternative unit. As per the disclosures on the rental application, cancellations after 72 hours may result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

Very Pleased to Live Here

Dana, the manager, leads a wonderful team here at Watersound Origin Apartments. They are kind, attentive, and quick to help. We love the property as well and the walk around the small lake. There are many kids for ours to play with, but the community is truly mixed making it nice for all ages/stages. We'd love to see a playground here, but do appreciate the Pet Spa to give our dog a good wash and the proximity to Publix and new buildings closeby is great. We can see ourselves happily living… here for quite awhile.

Great Staff, Great place to live!

I love the space in the apartment as well as the location of the property itself. The office staff is super helpful if you have questions and maintenance is very quick to fix any problems. Friendly neighbors, beautiful scenery and pet friendly! I highly recommend making this property your home!

Super-fantastic Property and Staff
