I've lived here many years
These apts have good and bad issues.
Good: They are quiet and similar to a condo style - no upstairs neighbors. Most of the neighbors are friendly and willing to help one another. There are only 2 two-bedroom apts. in the complex; all others are either 1 bedroom or efficiencies.
Bad: Nothing extra! No gym or pool. No mailbox package drop area (tiny mailbox areas).
Trash is scheduled for pickup twice a week - but is always running over. Stinky and nasty - especially during these hot months of... the year.
Maintenance issues seem to be at the apts. choice; depending on cost of what needs to be done.
Laundry room is very small and often dirty. No air - mosquitoes in the washers constantly...
Mgrs. seem to change like the seasons...just when you are comfortable with one mgr.; there is another change...same with maintenance folks. No one seems to stay put, for some reason...
No central air conditioning - wall units that do not always turn on when you want to be cool.
Bad areas in the floor that need to be repaired; rotten wood...but this goes without repair. When I have asked, I have been told the situation has been reported to the main office. Very soft flooring areas in places...
Lots of stray cats. We have all called the Humane Society to have as many strays fixed - to prevent more kittens...but not all can be caught. So skinny...but we are told NOT to FEED the strays. Difficult situation if you are an animal lover.
Lots of not-so-hot issues; however, I enjoy the quiet atmosphere and I stay on. We do not have many kids due to the small apt. sizes offered...which is good. I love kids, but there is no playground or anything for them to do to stay busy...so the kids that are here often get into mischief.
