I can undoubtedly recommend this apartment community as I have lived here for about 6 months now. The front office staff is composed of great people but especially Stephanie. She is the heart and soul of this community and is always ready to help with any issues you may have. She genuinely care and will treat you like family and I mean that in every sense of the word. I also feel I must praise the maintenance crew that has always fixed any issue ive encountered during my time here quickly and… efficiently. Rent can be a bit higher here but you get value for that price difference compared to many of the other apartment complexes in the area. Not one to typically complain, but I seriously do not understand how this place functions. My boyfriend accepted a job down in the Keys and he submitted an application here over two and a half months ago. He paid the application fee and a mini deposit to hold the apartment that was under its 'final stages' of construction. First, we were told our building would be ready by the beginning of December so we figured a week of hotels was not so terrible. Then it became 'sometime before the holidays'… and then it went to 'hopefully by the end of the year.' Well, after spending $5000+ in hotels during a high season in the Keys and to come to find out now a week before allegedly the building would be ready - that his application was never even processed. Apparently, his income evidence was not sufficient so they straight up denied him. Why not just request more evidence? They had two months to review all of this yet they chose to wait until now. Instead, they will give you every excuse in the book. Unfortunately, after having spent enough time on the island and chatting with locals, we found that we weren't the only ones being jerked around. Although we remained patient, it eventually ran thin. Leaving future tenants in limbo, not answering phone calls, lacking any form of organization and no definitive time frame is incredibly disappointing and irresponsible.
