Don’t RENT Here
DO NOT MOVE HERE UNTIL YOU READ THIS!!
After my lease ended, all of my maintenance orders disappeared from the system—no explanation, nothing. Yet somehow, charges magically appeared on my account, with no reference to those work orders. For example, they picked up the mattress and rails (which should’ve been recorded in a maintenance request), but still charged me. It honestly seems like they’re just charging everyone who moves out for normal wear and tear, without reviewing records or being... fair.
They say they can’t talk about disputes over the phone but still expect us to give them time to explain things? That makes no sense. One of my roommates—who lived there less time than I did—was charged $600 for carpet. Mind you, that carpet had been flooded multiple times before. When it happened, maintenance just sucked the water up and dried it—no cleaning, no replacing.
There was also an incident where maintenance left the water running and a door unlocked upstairs in a vacant unit. Water ended up leaking into another unit’s bathroom and floors. This place has had mold issues, pests, and nonstop unprofessional behavior. In the 4½ years I stayed there, they’ve gone through 3 to 5 different managers—no one sticks around, and that says a lot.
The office rarely gives straight answers, and be warned: if they say you owe $589, it’s probably going to end up being $700–$800 instead. The price is never what they advertise. Also, do not sign a lease based on the model room they show you—it is not what your actual unit will look like.
The only decent people in the office are Kyle and possibly the manager (don’t know him well). Everyone else acts like it’s a joke—they laugh, they don’t take concerns seriously, and they’re quick to place blame without any accountability.
PLEASE be cautious before signing anything here. It’s not worth the headache.
