For guests arriving by plane, the nearest airport is the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS), approximately 12 miles away.
This studio is centrally located on Okaloosa Island, offering easy access to restaurants, bars, and family activities in Fort Walton and Destin. The nearest public beach access is just steps away at Okaloosa Island Beach Access Five - Doris Jordan Freeway Beachwalk. The neighborhood is surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Choctawhatchee Bay, offering a wide variety of outdoor activities like swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, paddleboarding, and kayaking. Nearby attractions include the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park, Wild Willy's Adventure Zone, and the Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island.
There is a strict no-smoking policy inside the condo or on the balcony. The heating and cooling system runs off a boiler system; when the weather outside is below 68 degrees, the heat will automatically turn on. To stop hot air from blowing, turn the system off and open the balcony door. Extra blankets or pillows can be provided for a fee of $40 as extra linens are not stocked for the sleeper sofa. The unit is not childproofed. Guests must be over 22 to book and stay on the property. Check-in time is 4pm or after, with an option for early check-in for a $50 fee. Check-out time is 10am. Guests are to leave keys as required in the House Manual. A $50 fine will be charged for late check-out. Guests must report any cleaning or maintenance concerns within 2 hours of check-in. Quiet time is from 10pm to 8am. Any disturbance triggering a visit by police will require immediate eviction. Guests are responsible for any damage made to the property. Host, or Host's Agent may enter the Property at any time, with no prior notice, in the event of an emergency, to perform necessary repairs and/or maintenance, and with 24 hours’ notice for normal maintenance. Host shall not be liable or responsible for personal items left behind, lost or stolen. Illegal substances are strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate eviction. Host shall not be liable to Guest, its guests or invitees or any other person for any injury, loss or damage to any person or property on or about the Property. Guests are asked to dispose of food in the available trash can. Garbage disposal is for small food remnants only. If garbage disposal is damaged or clogged by guest, Guest agrees to be charged for a plumber’s time. Guests are not to re-key or change out door locks/ door hardware. Guests shall keep noise to a minimum while in back or front yards. All items in kitchen including silverware, pots/pans, spices, flatware, etc. have been counted, and any item removed from premises will be charged to the guest. Guests are not to wash laundry belonging to the home in order to hide stains. Un-salvageable linens/bath towels will be charged to the guest. Indoor and outdoor furniture is not to be re-arranged. An additional cleaning fee of double the cleaning cost can be charged if additional cleanup is required that goes above the standard cleaning. By booking this unit you give permission to a third-party to verify your identity and check criminal databases to confirm your reservation. Pets are NOT allowed at this property. No Events. Any vendors entering the Property are prohibited.
