DO NOT RECOMMEND
My experience at this apartment complex has been disappointing from the very beginning. The leasing office did a poor job of explaining the application and move-in process, and I received very little communication or updates. I wasn't able to sign my lease until the day of my move-in, and after arriving, I had to wait an additional two hours because my apartment still wasn't ready. Considering that move-ins are only scheduled after 3:00 p.m., I expected the apartment to be prepared.
About a... month after moving in, my water heater began leaking, flooding my kitchen and spreading into my bedroom and my son's bedroom. Instead of permanently fixing the issue the first time, maintenance repeatedly made temporary repairs, and the problem continued to happen. It wasn't until the fifth flood that the water heater was finally replaced.
While I appreciate that the water heater was eventually replaced, the way everything else was handled was unacceptable. I came home from work to standing water still in my apartment, soaking wet towels thrown into my bathtub, and trash left behind by maintenance. I had to wait for someone to return to clean the water from my carpets, and the office has ignored my request for reimbursement after my personal towels had to be rewashed at the on-site laundromat because they were used during the cleanup.
To make matters worse, after multiple flooding incidents, I was finally told that emergency maintenance requests must be submitted through a different process in order to be treated as emergencies. That information should have been provided the very first time my apartment flooded. A leaking water heater that repeatedly floods an apartment is clearly an emergency, and it should never have taken five incidents before the issue was resolved.
I am also concerned about potential mold due to the repeated flooding and the delays in properly drying the apartment. In addition, I have noticed black water coming from the bathroom sink and bathtub faucets, which I have reported, but that issue has still not been addressed.
Overall, the biggest issues have been poor communication, extremely slow maintenance response times, and a lack of accountability. Getting updates requires repeatedly calling the office because they rarely communicate proactively. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend living here.
