Legacy Student Living

While living here I never had an issue until the last couple months. I was paying rent even though no longer living there when I received a call that they found someone who wanted to move into my vacant apartment. I was told there would be no fee and I’d have to cover the utilities for the month before the new residents move in. Today I received a call from management over a month after receiving that call that I have to pay a subleasing fee and still owe for another utility fee. I’ve lived here for two years due to not wanting to move once more during college. It is close to campus which is the bonus. ALTHOUGH The 1/1 building air conditioning barely works in the hot summer. My apartment’s fire alarms went off profusely for no reason and was replaced 5 times before I took it out of the wall when it still went off for no reason. The elevator is ALWAYS broken and there are days that it works so you don’t know whether it’s safe to take because there’s barely ever a sign. I… have even gotten stuck once. The W/D unit leaves the entire apartment feeling hot after use. Located extremely close to the Psychology, Med, Bio and Education buildings Although nicer than other apartments, honestly not worth the price.

The floors are laminate, not hardwood. The baseboards are painted with acrylic paint and peel. Not to mention the EXPOSED CARPET TACKS on the walls and dividers in the bedrooms. If you step on them they can and will pierce your foot. The sink in the kitchen is not stainless steel. Also, the rent is 800$/month not 300. They are incredibly cheaply made apartments. I am moving out next year. The space is incredibly too small.
